Scarlett Bergam, M.P.H., is a first-year medical student at George Washington University and a former Fulbright research scholar in Durban, South Africa. She has conducted global health research and programming since 2017 in the field of HIV and reproductive health. She hopes to specialize in family medicine and work at the intersection of clinical medicine and public health. Scarlett received her bachelor’s degree in public health and master’s in global health from Brown University. Her research interests lie in adolescent reproductive health and global infectious disease control.
